2024 Registration Details

The 2024 Barr Trail Mountain Race will be held Sunday, July 21st, 2024 at 7 AM. 
General entry for this year’s Barr Trail Mountain Race is now FULL! However… there are a (very) few “Aid Station Sponsor” slots remaining. 100% of the entry fee for these slots goes to the High School Aid Station Challenge and will be distributed to the participating local High School Cross Country teams who are manning the aid stations for the race.

Please note: we do not offer a waiting list, deferrals, or refunds for BTMR. Race insurance is highly suggested.

Registration Dates and Fees

  • General Registration (March 1 – April 30): $60
  • Late Bird (May 1 – June 30): N/A for 2024  (SOLD OUT)
  • Really Late Bird (July 1 – July 20): N/A for 2024  (SOLD OUT)
  • On-Site (packet pickup/race day July 21**): N/A for 2024  (SOLD OUT)

The Barr Trail Mountain Race began in 2000 with the intent of attracting top mountain-running athletes to race on Pikes Peak – the fourteener in Colorado Springs’ backdrop. The race was founded by skyrunning legend, Matt Carpenter together with Nancy Hobbs, founder and director of the American Trail Running Association (ATRA), ISF member.
