2025 Registration Details

The 2025 Barr Trail Mountain Race will be held Sunday, July 20th, 2025 at 7 AM. 
GENERAL REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL!
We still have “Aid Station Sponsor” slots left for 2025! 100% of the entry fee for these slots goes to the High School Aid Station Challenge and will be distributed to the participating local High School Cross Country teams who are manning the aid stations for the race.

Please note: we do not offer a waiting list, deferrals, or refunds for BTMR. Race insurance is highly suggested.

  • Really Late Bird (May 1 – July 19th): SOLD OUT
  • On-Site (packet pickup/race day July 20**): SOLD OUT
  • HS Aid Station Sponsor: $500

The Barr Trail Mountain Race began in 2000 with the intent of attracting top mountain-running athletes to race on Pikes Peak – the fourteener in Colorado Springs’ backdrop. The race was founded by skyrunning legend, Matt Carpenter together with Nancy Hobbs, founder and director of the American Trail Running Association (ATRA), ISF member.
